A supremely skilled Nigerian music star Mr P (Peter Okoye) takes a reflective turn on his latest single, “Chukwu Mee,” a faith-driven record released on October 1, 2026, alongside its official music video.
The Igbo phrase “Chukwu Mee” translates to “God, do it” or “May God make it happen,” setting the tone for a song centred on perseverance, patience, hard work, and divine blessings. Mr P draws from the realities of everyday life, acknowledging that progress can sometimes be slow while encouraging listeners to remain focused.
Rather than leaning into conventional party themes, Mr P delivers a more personal performance, touching on quiet prayers and the hope that honest efforts will receive God’s blessing.
The release arrives during the rollout for Mr P’s upcoming studio album, OG FOREVER, with the singer planning a series of back-to-back releases through November 30. Dropping on Nigeria’s Independence Day, “Chukwu Mee” and its official video introduce another side of Mr P as he continues building anticipation for the forthcoming project.
